  My faith in this practice has been restored since I have recently been seen by Dr Daniel Nlewedim, however impacted by my bad experience with Dr S. S. A. Shirazi. I have suffered from chronic back pain for over 2 years now, probably 3 - I lose count of days, weeks and months. During this time I have been seen by Dr S. S. A. Shirazi for this issue, the most recent time being in the last 2 months when I had to be taken by ambulance to A&E. I was previously told by Dr S. S. A. Shirazi that my back pain was just something that everyone gets, just like him (as he pointed to his lower back), he told me a year or so ago. In my most recent appointment with DR S. S. A. Shirazi, I was told that he cannot find anything wrong and that he had no concerns but it was most probably a muscular issue - though I told him my muscles did not ache. I insisted that he referred me for an MRI scan but was told that he will not because it will probably not show anything. Obviously upset by this, he said to come see him at the practice and he will refer me (not sure why it had to be done this way - perhaps it impedes on Dr S. S. A. Shirazi meeting targets he is set in the A&E department). Before I left Dr S. S. A. Shirazi tried to raise my hopes that it was not anything bad by saying that the only thing that could be causing me pain, at my age, in my lower back would be CANCER but I am too young and healthy for this to be the cause. I did not see Dr S. S. A. Shirazi again because of my issue with his morality and lack of emotion. It is also worth noting that Dr S. S. A. Shirazi advised me, without performing any tests or having sought advice, that I do not Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (separate medical issue) but was very soon after advised by a specialist at Peterborough City Hospital and a chiropractor, that I do indeed have Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. Very soon after, I made an appointment with Dr Daniel Nlewedim. I was immediately referred for an MRI and I have recently been advised of my results; I have a DISC PROTRUSION. My symptoms were very tell-tale of this. I can't thank Dr Daniel Nlewedim enough for listening to my concerns and acting upon them so promptly. I can now look forward to recovering. My faith is now not lost in this practice. However, I now always request NOT to see Dr S. S. A. Shirazi. Kristian Bennett
